Description
Origin of Chyawanprash
According to the ancient scriptures, Ashwani Kumars’ formulated Chyawanprash more than a thousand decade ago, at Rishi Chawan Ashram on Doshi Hills, currently in Narnaul, Haryana, which is the only medicine to find its place in ‘Rasayana Tantra’. Interestingly, the place chosen by Ashwini Kumars’ is a blend of Vaastu (Science of Prosperous Dwelling) and Nakshatras (auspicious Muhurta) making the herbal compound divine and cosmically aligned for a perfect healing.
References of the ingredients used in Chyawanprash are quoted in ‘Charak Samhita’ under Rasayana and in ‘Baishajya Ratnawali’, though all the ingredients are not available now in their original state.
Why VEDDHAMA’S Asvinoprasa?
Veddhama is blessed with Experts who have been able to bring the knowledge of Upvedas (Ayurveda and Samhitas) with Vedangas (Jyotish, Vaastu and Sutras) together, to create a near-to-perfect environment for sowing the seed of ‘Asvinoprasa’ in the same Nakshatra (timings) and Ashrama (vaastu and metals) as used by Ashwini Kumars’. Therefore, our Asvinoprasa (Chyawanprash) stands unique based on the following standard practices adopted during its manufacturing:
a) Combination of Herbs and Plant Extracts (as in ‘Charak Samhita’ and Baishajya Ratnawali’ with maximum number of drugs)
b) Same Nakshtra and Muhurta (in which the Ashwini Kumars’ prepared Chyawanprash for the first time)
c) Complete Ayurvedic Style (by hanging Amlas; using the actual number of Bavna and providing actual heat through under upal process)
d) Combining Drugs (through ancient Pal Unit System)
e) 100% Chemical-free, Natural and Safe
f) Sugar-free (only Honey and Jaggery are used)
